| Formed in 1990, the Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation is the non-profit organization responsible for booking professional artists into the city-owned Poway Center for the Performing Arts. Each year the Foundation, in partnership with the City of Poway and the Poway Unified School District, assembles a line up of top-notch talent from the worlds of drama, dance, music, comedy and more. Additionally, the Foundation sponsors the Arts in Education initiative, a series of programs designed to give students 'up close and personal' experiences with living, working artists via workshops and master classes. |
