The Poway Center for the Performing Arts was designed to present fine arts as well as performing arts and educational programming. The lobby of the Poway Center for the Performing Arts is a wonderful venue for fine art exhibitions. A new exhibit opens monthly, ensuring a wide variety of styles and media from local and regional artists, as well as student art.
Artists and/or art groups are chosen annually by an Art Selection Committee. A call for artists is sent out to the art community in April or May of the preceding year. Artists are advised in August or September if they are selected for one of ten show-months the following calendar year.
