COVID Information

The Poway Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA) will take the following steps to support the health and safety of our patrons, performers, staff, and volunteers.

  • All staff and guests who have not been fully vaccinated must wear a mask covering the nose and mouth at all times. Those who are fully vaccinated may continue to wear one if they so choose. By entering without a mask, you are self-certifying that you are fully vaccinated.
  • In alignment with other rental theatres, the presenting client may identify, implement, and require additional requirements (i.e. indoor masking regardless of vaccination status, proof of vaccination, and a negative test within 72 hours of entry).  Prior to arrival, we highly recommend that you check for requirements at or the direct website for your performance.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at multiple locations in the PCPA. Please wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.
  • A thorough cleaning of the entire facility is performed before each event.
  • Tickets, if provided by the PCPA, are scanned using a touchless system, and can be sent electronically to avoid the use of paper tickets.
  • The heating and air conditioning system has been upgraded to improve air filtration and ventilation.
  • Even with all efforts and added precautions, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting the PCPA, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
