"Beyond the Canvas"

"Beyond the Canvas" showcases art quilts created by 35 artist members of the Southern CA/NV region of Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc.  SAQA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt: "a creative visual work that is layered and stitched" with a vision that the art quilt be universally respected as a fine art medium.  Over the past 35 years, SAQA has grown into a dynamic and active community of over 4,000 artists, curators, collectors, and art professionals located around the world.  For more information about SAQA or to become a member, visit www.saqa.com.
