"The Color of Expression"

The artists of the San Diego Silk Guild are pleased to share a collection of silk paintings exploring how color conveys movement, mood, and meaning. The fluidity creates visual poems in hue. This exhibit takes viewers through an immersive journey that uses color as expression and silk as its canvas.

The Silk Guild welcomes artists of all levels, from beginner to professional, to join them as they exhibit throughout San Diego County, host in-person meetings to share tips and tricks, and host classes to learn about all the different techniques that can be used to make art with silk.

PARKING

While parking is free, please note Parking Passes are required on weekdays (Tuesday – Friday) and may be picked up in the main office within the PCPA lobby.

To obtain a Parking Pass:  Please pull into the loading zone outside the glass lobby doors (on Titan Way), enter the lobby and proceed to the PCPA Office to the left.  You will be issued a temporary pass to park in the lot behind the theater for the duration of your visit.

North County Society of Fine Arts Membership Exhibit 

On exhibit May 6 - May 30, 2026

Members of the North County Society of Fine Arts demonstrate a variety of art techniques and media, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel and mixed media. Every artist embarks on an “art journey”; this exhibit shows viewers the art journeys of several of our members. The subject matter and techniques are as varied as the artists themselves. 

NCSFA is a non-profit organization that has played a role in the community since 1996. Our mission is to promote the education and appreciation of ne arts with art demonstrations, workshops, exhibits and other related art functions. Another important purpose of our group is the awarding of an annual scholarship given to one or more local high school seniors who are pursuing an art career.
