An American Celebration
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with the Poway Symphony Orchestra and a vibrant program of iconic works by 20th-century American composers. Highlighting the program is George Gershwin’s unforgettable Rhapsody in Blue. This popular masterpiece blends classical form with jazz flair and features noted San Diego pianist Dan Yu as guest soloist. Also included are selections by Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein.
